2005 top 5 coming soon
i have filtered through my 2005 music purchases and i will share with all my top 5 of 2005 very very soon! yay! or as the seppos would spell.... yea!?!?!?! but when i look at all the music i have listened to over the year i never quite realise how much wasn't really from that year... usually it's within the last 5 years (as we all know back cataloguing is a dirty habit) and hopefully rarely past that unless the cd was less than $5 bucks. but anyways i do have a bunch of 2005 LP's (at least 5 anyway). fellow blogger(s), please compile and submit lists before winter break!!!! that's after fall..... hmm try thanksgiving!!!!... md end of november then.

We've still got a month and a half to go - what if a killer album comes out in that time??! It could ruin the whole list ;)
Anyway, i'll send you my verdict when i've carefully tallied up the points in my complex assessment scheme, or picked 5 random cds from the shelf...
Meanwhile, check out my Deerhoof goodies over at the blog (the gig was sweaty but sweet)
oh yeah i saw them this morning... very nice, infact your whole blog is looking very swish.
Hey Pauly, are you still taking orders for this? I wasn't going to participate initially because I found the task too overwhelming. But I have since decided to make at least one offering: Wolfmother's self-titled debut album ROCKS!!!!! I can't get enough of it. This album is definitely generating much air guitar and wailing into the scale rule/microphone. During office hours however, it's strictly headphones and headbanging at the drawing board...with the occasional sign of the horned one. I know i'm making the wrong refrences, but rock on! \m/ \m/
Ok, I have another addition to the list, and clearly this is only happening because I've gone a bit gig junky-ish of late and have been to a flurry of shows in the last fortnight or so. Emiliana Torrini's 'Fisherman's Woman'. There.
